Bio

Dr. Xiong is double board-certified in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

He completely his undergraduate education at Boston University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then attended medical school at Brown University, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha. Afterwards, he pursued dermatology residency at Stony Brook University, and finally capped off his training with an ACGME-accredited Mohs surgery fellowship at Bennett Surgery Center.

Dr. Xiong has over a dozen publications on dermatology and Mohs surgery in peer-reviewed journals, and has authored two book chapters. He has a passion for treating and curing skin cancers with Mohs surgery, as well as providing the best possible cosmetic outcome with surgical reconstruction. He believes that each patient is unique and that it is important to listen to the patient carefully and tailor care to each individual's goals and needs.

In his spare time, Dr. Xiong enjoys playing the violin and guitar, going on hikes, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
