Superficial Radiotherapy
(Soft X-Ray Therapy)
SRT is a medical treatment used to treat certain types of skin cancer by delivering targeted low-energy radiation directly to the skin's surface, specifically to the cancerous area, while minimizing the impact on surrounding healthy tissues.
Mohs Micrographic
Surgery
We are proud to offer Mohs micrographic surgery, a highly precise technique for the examination and removal of skin cancer in a single visit. This procedure is performed in-office under local anesthesia, allowing for the complete removal of cancerous cells while preserving as much healthy tissue as possible. With Mohs surgery, we achieve excellent cure rates and minimize scarring with same-day results, ensuring the best possible outcome for our patients.
Cyst and Growth
Removal
Our experienced dermatologists specialize in the removal of cysts, lipomas, skin tags, and other benign growths. Procedures such as cryosurgery, curettage and electrodesiccation are performed in-office with local anesthesia, delivering minimal scarring and quick healing time.
Scar Revision
Frontier Dermatology offers advanced techniques for scar revision, utilizing non-invasive treatments [laser resurfacing and dermal fillers] and surgical excision to improve the appearance of scars. These procedures are performed in-office, often with local anesthesia, providing a personalized and convenient solution for scar management.
Mole Evaluation
and Removal
Our dermatologists conduct thorough evaluations of moles using dermoscopy to accurately diagnose any abnormalities. If mole removal is required, we perform the procedure in-office with local anesthesia, ensuring your comfort and peace of mind.
Rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition primarily affecting the face, characterized by redness, visible blood vessels, and acne-like bumps. It often starts with a tendency to blush or flush easily and can progress to persistent redness and other symptoms such as swollen red bumps, eye irritation (ocular rosacea), and in severe cases, thickened skin on the nose (rhinophyma). The exact cause of rosacea is unknown, but it is believed to result from a combination of genetic and environmental factors.
