Mark J Doherty is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is fellowship trained in Mohs’ micrographic surgery; a fellow member of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs’ Surgery. He attended Crieghton University and Creighton University school of Medicine in Omaha Nebraska. Dr. Doherty then completed a medical internship at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane.
His residency in both general and surgical dermatology as well as his fellowship in Cutaneous Oncology and Mohs’ Micrographic Surgery were completed at Louisiana State University Medical Center.
Dr. Doherty has worked in the Bellingham community since 1989 but is originally from Missoula Montana. He is surrounded by numerous siblings and relatives here in the Pacific Northwest.
