Bio

Dr. Jacobson is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. She specializes in Mohs micrographic skin surgery, dermatologic and laser surgery, and skin cancer surveillance. She was the first doctor to bring the Fraxel laser to Seattle five years ago.

Dr. Jacobson spent an additional year Following residency, Dr. Jacobson spent an additional year completing a Mohs fellowship, during which time she completed over one thousand Mohs surgery cases at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York (NYC). She has lectured nationally, authored textbook chapters in Cancer of the Skin and Mohs Micrographic Surgery, and published widely in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Jacobson serves as a contributing editor for the peer-reviewed journal Dermatologic Surgery and is an active member of the Skin Cancer Foundation. She has been featured on the local news discussing the importance of skin cancer screenings and sun protection.

Dr. Jacobson has lectured nationally and written textbook chapters and journal articles on topics ranging from novel skin cancer treatments to cosmetic enhancement of scars.

She lives in Seattle with her husband and two young children and enjoys pilates, distance running, and travel.
